How it works:
For 10-weeks, on Thursdays between April 9th – June 11th we will meet on a Zoom call with the group. If you can’t meet at the designated time, the videos are recorded so you can watch anytime.
We will also use the Marco Polo video chat app inbetween our calls to connect, courage and inspire each other along the way.
In addition to the content in each chapter, I will share my best creative, mindfulness and stress reduction practices that I’ve learned over the past 20 years. This includes breath work, meditation and journaling tips, along with group coaching, energy work, yoga Nidra and more.
Consistency and accountability are key when make changes in our lives. Doing this inner work with a group each week will help you show up and keep you going.

Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way, has changed so many lives over the past 25 years, including mine!
I was living in Boulder, Colorado twenty years ago. I was in the most beautiful surroundings, had my first real job out of college and many friends. Yet I had this looming feeling that something was…missing.
It’s when I discovered the book, The Artist’s Way, that I was blown away by the concept that we are all creative. I had longed to feel creative for so much of my life, yet some time during my middle school years I started to believe my thoughts that told me, I wasn’t good enough, that I wasn’t creative enough, that I’d never be as good as them and that I definitely was not an artist. Oh how wrong those thoughts were, and they really limited me from living my fullest and most authentic life.
Around the same time that I discovered this life-altering book, I dove more deeply into yoga. My yoga teachers and practice taught me that I was not my thoughts. What another mind-blowing concept at the time! You mean, I was not the thoughts that said I wasn’t good enough? How could this be? It’s the story that I had held onto for so long. It’s the story that kept me from taking risks. It’s the story that kept me feeling comfortable, and prevented me from growing. It’s the story that allowed me to use fear as a protective blanket to keep from shining too brightly.
Believing I wasn’t good enough kept me safe, but it certainly didn’t make me happy. I knew there was a better way and I knew I had so much creative fire burning inside me. I needed to learn how to channel it! I needed to quiet my mind. I needed to open my heart. I needed to explore my fears with gentleness and compassion. I needed to break free of trying to do things perfectly. I had to learn how to tap into my intuition, how to connect with it more fully and how to courageously express it more freely.
Participating in an Artist’s Way group with other women (and recovering perfectionists / self-doubters like me) changed my life in profound ways.
We met each week to explore the weekly assignments, to do creative projects together and to share our personal insights. We did our morning pages and took ourselves on artist dates (as suggested in the book). At the end of this 12-week journey all of our lives had changed in so many ways. I moved back to Kansas City, landed a job at an art studio, met my husband and stepped more fully into my gifts as a teacher, mentor and creative guide.
Eventually I launched my own online self-discovery and creativity courses, became a yoga and meditation teacher, stepped into my intuitive gifts as an energy worker and healer. I’ve coached hundreds of women over the years and continue sharing my passion of inspiring more and more beautiful souls to return to their true nature and to awaken to their own creative gifts, intuition, authenticity and magnificence.
This year marks 20 years since I first embarked on The Artist’s Way journey and I’m now feeling guided to lead a special group of women through the process that changed the course of my life.
When you pay more attention to your limiting thoughts you can break free of the ones that keep you stuck and small. When you explore your inner life and reconnect to your creativity, you open up the gateway to your intuition and authentic self. When you open that channel your energy can flow more openly and freely, and this is where you feel safe to be your true self, where you can step more fully into your own power and feel courageous enough to be the creator of your life!
You are creative. You are an artist. You are enough, just as you are. You are a powerful woman with brilliant gifts and it’s time to shine brightly, to embrace your imperfect self, to let go of worry, to take more healthy risks, to feel vulnerable and to see where this adventurous journey of life takes you next.
