The Evergreen Table

Come Gather.

Welcome to The Evergreen Table

The Evergreen Table began with a simple longing.

To slow down.

To create beautiful things by hand.

To gather with the people we love.

What started with a sourdough starter on the kitchen counter and flower seeds planted in the garden has become something much more than bread and blooms.

It has become a way of living.

One rooted in nature, creativity, hospitality, and the quiet belief that the simplest things often become the most meaningful.

A warm loaf shared with a neighbor.

Flowers gathered from the garden.

Children laughing beneath the trees.

Friends lingering around the table long after the meal has ended.

This is our invitation.

Come Gather.

🌿 This Week at The Evergreen Table

Every week is a little different. The bread changes with the seasons. The flowers bloom in their own time. The garden decides what’s ready. That’s part of the beauty.

Reserve your loaf below.

Our Bread

Every loaf is naturally leavened, handcrafted, and made slowly.

Our sourdough and seasonal focaccia are inspired by the changing seasons and often decorated with herbs and edible flowers gathered from our own garden.

We believe great bread simply takes time.

Every loaf is mixed, folded, fermented, baked, and shared with care.

Whether you’re gathering with family, sharing a meal with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet evening at home, our hope is that every loaf becomes part of a beautiful memory.

Garden Blooms

Flowers have a way of reminding us to slow down.

Each bouquet celebrates whatever is naturally blooming throughout the season.

You’ll find zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, herbs, and other garden favorites lovingly grown here in Kansas.

Every bouquet is unique because every season is unique.

Our flowers are gathered fresh and wrapped simply, allowing the beauty of nature to speak for itself.

Gatherings

We believe community begins around the table.

Throughout the seasons we’ll host creative workshops, flower gatherings, seasonal suppers, and, one day, Forest Gatherings at The Evergreen Table.

These gatherings are an invitation to slow down, create with your hands, share meaningful conversation, and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world.

There is always room for one more.

Our Philosophy

We believe beauty belongs in everyday life.

Bread tastes better when it’s shared.

Flowers remind us to notice the season we’re in.

Art awakens wonder.

Nature teaches us to slow down.

Community begins around the table.

Beautiful things are meant to be shared.

From This Week’s Table

One of the things I love most about living close to the seasons is that every week looks a little different.

Some weeks the basil is overflowing.

Some weeks the calendula steals the show.

Sometimes the zinnias are just beginning to bloom.

Other weeks we’re gathering herbs for the next focaccia.

I hope you’ll return often to see what’s blooming, what’s baking, and what’s being gathered around the table.

(This is where you’ll eventually share a short weekly journal entry with photos.)

Looking Ahead

The Evergreen Table is just beginning.

Today it looks like bread cooling on the counter, flowers growing in the garden, and neighbors stopping by for a loaf.

Tomorrow, we dream of something even bigger.

A place tucked beneath the trees.

Long tables. Seasonal meals. Creative workshops. Children exploring nature. Music beneath the stars. Friends lingering over good conversation.

A place where people leave feeling nourished - not only by good food, but by beauty, belonging, and meaningful connection.

We’ll call it…Forest Gatherings at The Evergreen Table.

Until then…

We’re beginning exactly where we are.

One loaf. One bouquet. One gathering. One beautiful season at a time.
